While the Asus ZenBook 13 UM325S is one of the brightest little books in a 13.3-inch format, the integrated device is still powered by the traditional octa-core SoC. To be precise, it is the AMD Ryzen 7 5800U, based on Zen3 architecture and brings many improvements. SoC comes with 16 GB of working memory and a large 1-TB SSD ensures adequate storage. With the GPU in Vega 8, the new SoC is not really bringing anything new. However, the iGyU Ryzen 5000U APUs now have a slightly higher clock speed, so we should also expect more performance here. Case - Modern and minimal

Asus uses high-quality materials in the ZenBoook 13. To a large extent, it is made of aluminum, which brings good durability to the case. The work gives no reason to complain, and the extra haptics also feel superior and hold well. Fortunately, the surface does not show fingerprints easily. As already mentioned, the strength of the base unit and the display cover are good, although the base center may be slightly lowered in our pressure test, but this is not very obvious.

Hinges are very easy to move and allow for one-handed opening of the display. However, if you put the phone down too quickly on the table, the display often bounces in the background. While this is easy to live with, we could still choose hinges that are a bit stronger.
