Grand Theft Auto (GTA) San Andreas Next-Gen Remake Is Coming Soon.
An alleged-leaker has doubled down on recent claims that RockstarGames is planning a remake of the 2004 classic GTA: San Andreas.
It all got kind of weird and cryptic after that, but the gist of it all was that these users believed that a reveal for the remaster collection was coming soon, and that it would be using an updated engine to make the classic games look and run better than ever. It's the kind of thing that seems to good to be true, especially since Rockstar has ruled out remaking older games so many times over the years. I assume that's why they port GTA V every two weeks, so it can never be classed as an older game.
While much of this seems to be very vague at the moment, a new leaker stepped out of the shadows earlier this week to take part in an AMA and share a ton of what they claim to be on the money GTA-VI details and predictions. As shared by Reddit user meetsejpal, the now-deleted post mentions a 2023 release date for GTA VI... but also teased the upcoming anniversary of San Andreas when pushed for a comment on the rumoured remake/remaster.
San Andreas originally launched in October 2004, although the GTA Forums users hinted that we may see a trailer for the Remastered Collection soon. For now, I'd remain wary of these rumours for now, of course - for they are just rumours at this stage - but a return trip to San Andreas would-be a hell of a way to tide us over until GTA-VI finally drops.
