 GTA 5 has been out for over 8 years now, and has seen three generations of hardware, each repetitive in energy efficiency to bring a better feeling. With the passing of Rockstar's history of installing their classic GTA games on Android and iOS, the question is whether Rockstar should include GTA 5 or not in the mobile launch. Why GTA 5 mobile might be the best or worst decision in Rockstar games

At the top, GTA 5 mobile sounds as a no-brainer. A surprisingly successful Rockstar entry can be unveiled to newer viewers and break records around the world, but building a top-notch console port is easier said than done. The first challenge developers can face is the challenges of space. GTA 5 on PC now takes up more than 100 gigabytes of drive space, something most 64 GB mobile devices can't rely on to achieve. The second challenge can be the power of processing only. While it is commendable how far mobile devices have come over the past few years, they are pale in comparison to the basic gaming PCs and the aging PS4. To put it bluntly using Teraflops as a graphical performance unit, the PS4 can output 1.84 teraflops while most mobile GPUs can extract anywhere between 0.2 to 1.4 teraflops at the top.

If Rockstar were to upgrade the GTA 5 mobile port, it would not be a direct port. Instead, what players will find in consumer entertainment will not do real justice, such as Mortal Kombat and Injustice mobile, which are slaves to their console colleagues. it wouldn’t be the best call by Rockstar Games and maybe waiting a few years until mobile hardware has taken over would be a better solution.

As a new game in the franchise, GTA 5 has been raised down with difficulty to make it accessible to more players. While this approach has made it difficult to sell, it has disappointed players looking for a challenge.
