We've seen products like the GeForce RTX3060 go on sale worldwide in the weeks leading up to its launch, but the product was already launched in January, so it wasn't much of a surprise. On the other hand, Intel has not even announced the Core i7-11700K processor.
The Intel Core i7-11700K is the next generation 8-core and 16-thread unlock processor in the Rocket Lake S series. The processor series is now rumored to be announced on March 16. However, the CPU manufacturer did not confirm the specifications or pricing of the new series. Technically, the Core i7-11700K is also missing.
Mind Factory, one of Germany's largest retailers, is already selling new CPUs and even admits that the process did not violate any restrictions. Just 2 days after the first reports that the 11th General Series went on sale, we have reports from customers who said they had already received the processor from the store.
